摘要
This work proposes a novel hybrid bridgeless PFC rectifier with high voltage gain. The proposed topology is a variation of other 2-level previous hybrid topologies in literature and its main advantages compared to the previous hybrid structures are the reduced number of switches and common ground reference for all active switches and the output. The hybrid rectifier uses a hybrid switched-capacitor (SC) voltage multiplier to increase the voltage gain of the conventional boost PFC rectifier, which multiplies the output voltage and divides the voltage stress across the switches. The topology analysis and experimental results are presented for a 1 kW, 800 V dc output voltage and 220 V ac input voltage converter.
