摘要
A stationary particle process in three-dimensional Euclidean space is considered. The aim is to study the estimation of the typical particle volume based on the information collected on section planes through the reference points of the particles. The first two moments of the distribution of the typical particle and the distribution of local stereological volume estimators can be estimated from sectional data. The influence on estimation accuracy of dependencies in the particle population is investigated.
