摘要：

In order to intensify the implementation of information and communication technologies in Russia in recent years, relevant legal acts have been adopted, which involve the implementation of relevant measures and their financing. At the same time, the terminological apparatus, goals, objectives and partly the organizational mechanism are not sufficiently targeted to improve the efficiency of the Russian economy. In this regard, the paper discusses the main, problematic components that need to be focused on for active growth, both the information sector of the economy and the information component of the entire economy. In particular, it is necessary to pay attention to personnel training, specialization of scientific areas, R&D.
