摘要
Functionalization of SBA-15 with double-charged DABCO with 3-chloropropyltrimethoxysilane (CPTMS) has been reported for the first time. This new hybrid silica material was incorporated for the Pd supporting to design a new and efficient Pd@SBA-15/ILDABCO catalyst for the synthesis of biaryls using Suzuki-Miyaura coupling reaction. Scanning electron microscope (SEM), transmission electron microscope (TEM), SEM energy dispersive X-ray (SEM-EDX), BET surface are analysis, thermal gravimetric (TG), FT-IR spectrums and ICP-AES were recorded for the characterization of Pd@SBA-15/ILDABCO. In the reaction of Suzuki-Miyaura coupling, Pd@SBA-15/ILDABCO resulted in superior yields in short time reaction at 80 degrees C. This catalyst also showed recyclability at least for 9 runs without a significant loss in activity, giving a total TON = 1710. (C) 2015 Elsevier Inc. All rights reserved.
