摘要
As one recently developed technology, cloud computing is differ in various aspects with distributed computing and grid computing. Traditional monitoring system designed for the gird computing or distributed system is not suitable for the platform of cloud computing. And we have proposed a bionic autonomic nervous system (BANS)-based cloud resource monitoring model to deals with the common issues of scalability and flexibility with monitoring system as well as support autonomy. The autonomy provides an efficient design that enables our monitoring system to both disperse pressure of primary monitoring node on data processing and reduce the network traffic load. Experimental evidence is presented that the BANS-based cloud resource monitoring system has a good performance. And it has been successfully deployed in Collaborative Autonomic Computing Laboratory cloud platform.
