摘要：

Described are the process metallurgy and the operational planning in the steel plant of this integrated iron and steel mill. which has a broadly diversified mix of products. The facilities are geared tot among other things, the precise achievement also in respect to ultralow concentrations in the steel. This equally applies to the temperature, as well as to the phosphorus level at the end of the BOF process. The operations are planned and controlled in the steel plant with the aid of a process scheduling model. The special features of the metallurgical treatment are discussed, taking the example of different groups of steel grades.
