摘要：

It is noted that today information technology is the most important factor that influences the quality of the education system. The main prerogative is the quality and level of training of students in an institution of higher education that is the key to the successful operation of the education system. The article is devoted to the use of information technology in the educational process. The authors reveal the possibilities and areas for the use of information technology in modern education. Special attention is paid to the benefits of using information and communication technology in comparison with traditional teaching methods.
