The shortest C-H•••O hydrogen bonds yet determined by single crystal neutron diffraction:: a structural study of two phosphonium aryloxides

摘要
The structures of two phosphonium aryloxides have been determined by neutron diffraction at 20 It and reveal extensive aggregation in the solid state via very short C-H ... O and C-H ...pi interactions, including the shortest C-H ... O distance yet determined by neutron diffraction.
