摘要
A five-band metamaterial absorber (MA) composed of L-shaped and slanting-bar resonators in the top layer, a dielectric layer in the middle and a metallic plate in the bottom is proposed in this paper. Its absorption performance is simulated and studied. Numerical results show that the MA has five distinctive absorption peaks with high absorbance under normal incidence. The loss properties and field distributions are studied to demonstrate the absorption mechanism. Moreover, the MA is ultra-thin and polarization insensitive, and thus be useful in most practical applications.
