摘要：

Ring closing metathesis of enamines derived from isoquinolines and beta-carboline occurs in DCM at room temperature in good yields. The products of ring closing metathesis bear close structural relationships to many alkaloidal natural products and are obtained in yields that bear approximate inverse proportionality to the calculated basicity of the enamine starting material.
