摘要：
Aim of the paper is the evaluation of FRP composite material effectiveness in reinforcing masonry arches. The present research is motivated by the possibility of reinforcing the arcades of an old masonry building located in a little town of the Central Italy, with advanced FRP materials. The behaviour of the reinforced structures is evaluated by means of experimental tests on full scale arches and the obtained results are compared with the one provided by analytical analyses.
