摘要
An ultra wideband low profile orthogonal dual polarization array antenna is proposed in this paper. Dipole overlap and tight coupling array technology are used to enhance the coupling between antenna elements and achieve ultra wideband and low profile performance. The metal element of the dipole antenna is half-slotted, which can realize the T-shaped configuration of the printed circuit board without affecting the current conduction. The proposed antenna achieves 6.66:1 bandwidth (2.7-18 GHz) and it has smaller size, lighter weight and good spatial adaptability.
