摘要
Mental health problems are among the most common disease patterns in childhood and adolescence. The longitudinal BELLA cohort study represents the mental health module of the German National Health Interview and Examination Survey among children and adolescents (KiGGS). The aim of this study is to gather insights on mental health in children and adolescents in Germany. In this contribution, the design and methodology of the BELLA cohort study are briefly reported followed by an outline of several implications for clinical practice.
