摘要
The male of Cretakarenni birmanicus Penis & Delclos, 2015 is reported from mid-Cretaceous Burmese amber. The male has distinct modifications on its head and a different tarsal formula from the female. These sexual dimorphisms are consistent with extant monotomid beetles, and suggests that sexual dimorphism in Monotomidae had already appeared in the Cretaceous period. (C) 2019 Elsevier Ltd.
