摘要
Even without vortex pinning type II superconductors in general exhibit irreversible magnetization if they are not exact ellipsoids or have a sharp knife edge or cusp where flux can penetrate. The geometric barrier responsible for this irreversibility is calculated for thick strips and disks with constant thickness without and with volume pinning. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science B.V.
