摘要：
At the beginning of the 19th century, the brothers Schlegel initiated the process of working out a canon of new classical literature. This new current transformed German literature. The study surveys the character of the process and its response in Czech revival literature on the basis of translations of medieval Italian, Spanish and Portuguese literary works.
