摘要
This article surveys contemporary Filipino Chinese authors' interest in speculative fiction. Many of the authors of this burgeoning move ment were included in the anthol ogy Lauriat: A Filipino-Chinese Speculative Fiction Anthology(2012), edited by Charles A. Tan. These authors find spec u la tive fic tion a fruit ful genre for com- bin ing Western lit er ary tech niques and mate rial gleaned from Philippine myth and folk lore.
