摘要：

Geographic information sharing and interoperability have been one of the critical problems for geospatial-related applications. For the present, web service is accepted broadly as the best approach for geographic information sharing and interoperability on Internet. The paper mainly describes the framework of the web service-based method, and discusses the technologies and steps involved in the implementation of the method.
