摘要
The present paper addresses the commercial activity that the Spanish artist Matias Maestro exercised in Lima between the years 1789 and 1792. Maestro's relationship with the Elizalde-Larreta Company allowed him to conceive an important correspondence within the city's mercantile circuit, which led him to be called for the exploration project of the Pucayaco mines, in Pasco (Peru). Therefore, the two drawings that he made for the mining site and that are currently conserved in the General Archive of the Indies are analyzed.
