摘要
The mechanical properties of the NiO-Ni two-layer coating, deposited by magnetron sputtering, on the Si substrate from the series of experiments on nanoindentation were investigated. A comparison of the experimental results with the results, obtained using the mathematical model that takes into account the internal structure of the coating was conducted. The effect of thin surface oxide film on the effective Young's modulus of the coating during nanoindentation was demonstrated.
