摘要
A method is proposed to reduce the requirement of the orthogonality of OFDM multicarrier systems, and improve the bandwidth efficiency of multicarrier systems. For received OFDM signals or non-orthogonal multicarrier signals, the method treats each subcarrier as a harmonic signal with a known frequency and uses a Kalman filter to estimate the amplitude and phase of each harmonic. The simulation results show that the new method has a bandwidth efficiency higher than that of the OFDM system and it does not require the orthogonality of subcarriers.
