A method for the quantitative phase analysis of ZrO2 films grown on Zr-2.5% Nb pressure tubes

摘要
A method for the quantitative phase analysis of textured corrosion formed ZrO2 films on zirconium alloys using pole figure data has been developed. This method was then used to examine changes in the volume fraction of the tetragonal and monoclinic phases of ZrO2 films grown on Zr-2.5% Nb as a function of heat treatments, oxide thickness and oxidizing environments.
