摘要
The new and earlier published data on the distribution of 12 species of bats in the Cis-Ural region and South Urals (the Republic of Bashkortostan) are presented. The information of the bat subspecies are given, and the necessity to specify the systematic status of the Pi pistrellus pipistrellus/pygmaeus complex is shown. In Bashkortostan, the fauna of bats by its composition is a variant of the central European fauna. In the territory studied, eastern boundaries of the N. leisleri and P. pipistrellus/pygmaeus ranges pass. An important distinguishing feature of the Bashkortostan territory is the presence of natural places for mass hibernation of bats - more than 983 karst caves. Bats use these caves not only for wintering, but also in the period of the summer activity. The data on the occurrence and relative abundance of settled species of wing-handed animals in Bashkortostan are provided.
