摘要
Proliferation of multi-electric aero-engine industries has resulted in the increase of internal electronic devices. As one of most vulnerable parts of the aircraft, lightning strike would lead to a devastating loss if the engine was caused to malfunction. In view of the above mentioned facts, modeling of geometric and internal cable of turboprop engine were completed, inductive electromagnetic field, surface current on the fuselage and distribution of the induced current in cables were simulated based on transmission line matrix method, meanwhile, the comparison of shielding effectiveness between different skin materials utilized on the fuselage was also investigated. The simulation results show that the internal and external electromagnetic fields at the same axial position of engine are not only different in peak value but also in validation tendency. The location of the cables has a great impact on the internal induced current, which has almost the same value in each cable inside the cable bundle. The shielding effectiveness of nacelle made of carbon fabric composite with bronze mesh is higher than the one without mesh. The research results have a certain guiding significance to clarify the electromagnetic effect of lightning strike to aero-engine, and it is significant for further research activities on the lightning protection.
