摘要
There are six units that are similar to tube and shell heat-exchangers in the adsorbent bed with an AC-NH3 pair which the bed is located in an adsorption air conditioner developed. The mathematical model of heat and mass transfer in a unit is proposed using the fluid flow concept in porous media. The computed results are in agreement with experimental data. The computed distributions of porous medium volume-averaged temperature and pressure are obtained in total space of the bed.
