High-Q-value classical electromagnetically induced transparency based on dipoles overlapping at spoof localized surface plasmons

摘要
mon metasurface (S-LSP) realized by only one connected metallic elementary unit cell. The excited electric dipole and magnetic dipole from S-LSPs almost overlap in the extreme narrow frequency band, which satisfies the condition of classical EIT occurring. This metasurface structure increases another possibility relative to the early brightdark mode classical EIT with separated resonances. Moreover, under the microwave band, our proposed classical EIT has high Q value (up to 311) and group index (up to 30.913) compared to the recent classical EIT or passive microwave devices around the same working frequency.
