摘要
This paper investigates adjacent-channel interference (ACI) influence on asynchronous systems consisting of filter bank multicarrier (FBMC) and orthogonal frequency-division multiplexing (OFDM), under multipath fading channels. FBMC inhibits out-of-band (OOB) radiation more than OFDM, by subcarrier-wise filtering. This results in ACI reduction, while causing inter-symbol interference (ISI) and inter-carrier interference (ICI) under multipath fading channels. In this paper, we evaluate the bit error rate (BER) performance of asynchronous FBMC/OFDM systems, considering the ACI and simulations.
