摘要
In order to address the complex cometabolism degradation of toxic compounds, batch experiments on 2-chlorophenol (2-CP) biodegradation by pseudomonas aeruginosa under the existence of phenol were carried out The experimental results shows that the 2-CP has an inhibitory effect on cell growth and phenol degradation, which demonstrates that the interaction among substrates affect cell growth and substrate degradation. Moreover, a kinetic model of bacteria growth and substrate transformation was developed. The simulated results show that the squares of correlation coefficients are all over 0.95, indicating that this model properly simulates the cometabolism degradation of 2-CP under the existence of phenol.
