摘要
The stability of the detachment front in the scrape-off-layer (SOL) of a tokamak, and the controllability of the detachment front motion, are studied with a 1-dimensional fluid code based on the single-fluid model. Simulations show that when the externally injected heat into the SOL region is reduced below a critical value, the detachment front starts to move towards the X-point. It is found that the front motion can be controlled by varying the amplitude of the externally injected heat.
