摘要
Tribological properties of bronze-Cr-Ag composites sliding against AISI 52100 steel under dry-sliding conditions were investigated. The results show that the composite wear mechanisms include both adhesive and delamination. The additions of Cr and Ag improve the wear resistance and lubricating properties of the composites simultaneously. The Cr reduces the shear failure of the composite surface. The large amount of Ag depositing on the frictional surfaces can weaken the friction and wear. However, the excess Cr and Ag are harmful to mechanical properties and compactness. This also aggravates the delamination wear of the composites. (C) 2015 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
