摘要
The following paper intends to discuss the relation between madness and literature, as ways of transgression of language. Madness is the excluded language of society, for excellence, going by topics associated to sexuality, to speech, to labor and social events in general. In modernity, madness assumes it's own face of mental illness, submited to the psychiatry power, and so, getting distance from it's tragical dimension. Literature, therefore, can be considered a space where madness relates again with it's own tragical experience, while getting some distance from it's pathological character. Considering the discussions between Nietzsche, Foucault and other authors, it is possible to draw moviments of capture and transgression that take place in these spaces. Following these texts, it's possible to observe on the horizon of our paper, the work of Cortazar, "Hopscotch", emphasizing these spaces where madness becomes more close to literature while bringing the matter of language and it's relations with the work of Cortazar.
