摘要
This paper considers design of linear phase IIR digital filters. The basic idea is to approximate linear phase FIR filters by IIR filters via optimal Hankel-norm criterion. We propose an efficient algorithm for design of IIR filters with a self-contained proof. Numerical examples are worked out which show favorable comparisons with other existing design techniques.
