摘要
This paper discusses an anisotropic two-dimensional system consisting of chains possessing rigidity against bending in the presence of interchain orientational interactions. The mean susceptibility I(gamma) relative to an individual element of a selected chain on which a dipole field acts is calculated. This type of action occurs, for example, when a chain having a longitudinal component of the dipole moment and included in a matrix made up of nonpolar chains undergoes dielectric relaxation.
