摘要：

Wireless technology embodies a plethora of protocols and standards, each of them serving a different scope. All of them, however, are bound to security issues that make the deployment of wireless systems problematic. In this paper we present an overview of the major wireless technologies. The technologies examined are Bluetooth. the IEEE 802.11 standard and GPRS. We review the security mechanisms that these technologies possess and analyse the most important security problems related to them. Finally we present some available solutions.
