Efficient RuIII-catalyzed condensation of indoles and aldehydes or ketones

摘要
Synthesis of bis(indolyl)methanes through condensation of indoles and various aldehydes or ketones. Using Ru-111 as catalyst, is reported. It was found that the catalytic system involving Ru-111 affords the products smoothly Under very mild conditions in good to high yields.
