One application case of artificial life approach in the simulation of surface ship's anti-submarine warfare

摘要
In order to analyze the process and result of surface ship's anti-submarine warfare, the method of artificial life is used to design the simulation system. Firstly, the basic meaning, process and combat of surface ship's anti-submarine warfare are introduced, then related rules of "how to improve the artificial life approach?" are analyzed and the design of simulation system based on six factors is stated, namely, environment, objects, agents, relations, operation process and rules. Lastly, the effect of commander's braveness and experience on the process and result of combat are simulated on the basis of defining the effectiveness measure of surface ship's anti-submarine warfare. Finally, conclusion was made as follows, the artificial life approach can be used to solve many difficult problems in the combat simulation.
