摘要
The role of RNA binding proteins (RBPs) during nuclear reprogramming is poorly characterized. In this issue of Cell Stem Cell, Li et al. (2017) showthat DEAD-box RBP DDX5 acts as a reprogramming roadblock and give important mechanistic insights into the establishment of pluripotency by characterizing the intricate downstream events.
