摘要
In this paper, new experimental methods are devised to investigate the effects of thermal pulse and DC high voltage on space charge accumulation in LDPE. Studies have shown that after applying a thermal pulse, abundant heterocharge accumulates on the low-temperature side, causing electric field distortion. Accumulated charges and distorted electric fields recover after cooling for a while. And the thicker the LDPE, the faster the heterocharge builds up at cathode. The space charge accumulation phenomena of LDPE under thermal pulse exhibit a different pattern from that under steady-state thermal fields, which is of guidance for the study of the effect of dynamically changing thermal fields on charge transport processes.
