摘要
The paper discusses the effect of multi-walled carbon nanotubes (MWCNTs) modified by electron beams of different intensities on the electro-optical characteristics of polymer-dispersed nematic liquid crystals. It is demonstrated that the electron-beam irradiation of MWCNTs improves the compatibility of tubes and polymer-liquid crystals dispersion, increases the steadiness of suspensions based on them. In turn it results in the reduction of the threshold voltage and response times of the composite to the electric impulse, as well as increasing the light transmission.
