摘要：

Over the last 20 years, there has been considerable progress in the care of the diabetic foot. The increased limb survival rate in patients attending multidisciplinary clinics has resulted from advances in the care of the neuropathic foot, the neuro-ischaemic foot and from advances in the management of infection. However, significant concerns still remain, requiring a call to action.
