This article points out how to accompany the needs during counseling in view of human freedom and bondage through spiritual conversation from the viewpoint of the Christian, especially Protestantism. We took three Protestants from different periods, M. Luther, Dietrich Bonhoeffer and Charles Colson, their experience of life to see how to deal with the struggle and bondage when they faced the cognitive dissonance. They were all in Christ and felt such a sense of real freedom to be a Christian no matter what's the time they were living, like Luther lived about five hounded years ago far from now, Bonhoeffer experienced the suffering of World War Two, and Charles Colson who was dead in April last year suffered through the Watergate Scandal. During that period of time, Colson was tortured inside himself, yet in Christ he was released and free from the bondage of his mind finally. We've learned the way of spirituality from these three Protestants who got through the threat, imprisonment and life-threatening but did experience the work that was done by Holy Spirit and have peace of mind in Jesus Christ.
