摘要
Perpendicularly cross-bedded CuO microstructure has been prepared via a precursor-based route. First, Cu-2(OH)(3)Br, as the precursor, was hydrothermally synthesized in 0.1 M hexadecyl trimethyl ammonium bromide (CTAB) solution, Then the precursor was treated with 1 M NaOH solution at room temperature, and Finally after heating treatment at 200 degrees C in furnace it transformed to CuO with a perpendicularly cross-bedded microstructure. The gas sensor property investigation shows that the sensitivities to ethanol and acetone of the as-prepared CuO are two times higher than those of CuO particles(about 100 rim in size) in the gas concentration from 50 to 500 ppm. In particular, the linear response to the ethanol can be used as an operating curve to detect the ethanol concentration in this range.
