Feuerborniella paramuna Cordeiro, sp. nov., is a new species we describe herein from the paramo of Colombia. This genus is recorded for the first time from Colombia. Diagnostic characters for Feuerborniella Vaillant, 1971 along with its place in the tribe Psychodini are discussed, and a key to males of the Neotropical species of Feuerborniella is provided.
