摘要
The circumfluent type cyclone separator with inner cylinder is a patented technique for separating solid particles from gases. In the article, CFD study of the single phase flow and pressure drop in the circumfluent cyclone separator are presented. The RSM simulation of the three-dimension flow field and pressure drop in circumfluent cyclone separator has been carried out using commercial CFD package FLUETN6.2. The numerical results show that about 78% of the gas directly flowed out of the circumfluent cyclone separator through the vortex finder, after flowing into inner chamber and there is not short circuit flow at the bottom of vortex finder.
