摘要
The motion characteristics of suspended particles in turbulent flow are investigated experimentally using digital image processing technique. Three kinds of spherical suspensions with densities P+1.05, 1.25 and 1.44g/cm(3,) diameters ranging from 0.40 to 0.50mm, 0.60 to 0.71mm and 0.80 to 0.90mm are studied respectively in a tiltable open channel. The following behaviors of suspended particles are analyed by their trajectories analyes and experimentally study. The results have shown that the relative velocity and the following behaviors of suspended particles depend on the diameter and density of the particle and the viscosity, density and hydraulic radius of the fluid. With the increase fo the particles density, diameter and the fluid turbulence, its velocity difference from the fluid increases and following behavior becomes poor.
