摘要
his research sought to reflect how continuing education can help teachers from the initial series of the municipality of Palmas-TO to promote inclusive education. For the construction of this study, we started with a bibliographical review and a documentary study,with analyzes of official documents and publications focused on inclusive education at federal and municipal levels. It was noted that there is a theoretical framework coming from the Union, but when we deal with the municipality of Palmas, it was perceived that the theme is recent, being incorporated into the official documents and existing legislation, but there are no specific official legislation or documents for the school inclusion. It was concluded that the municipality of Palmas-TO needs to prepare documents that guide the teachers of the educational network, as well as to carryout specific training for the theme. The lack of subsidies on the part of the municipality directly harms the students with Special Needs, hurting the right to accessa quality public education.
