摘要
In order to study the characteristics of multispectral pulse under corona discharge in SF6 gas, an optical and electrical partial discharge detection system is set up in this paper. The optical pulse characteristics of partial discharge is studied at different spectral region by respectively testing the needle - plate electrodes discharge at the ultraviolet, visible and near-infrared regions. The results show that under the needle-plate electrode discharging, near infrared light pulses only exist in the positive half cycle, ultraviolet light pulses are in the negative half cycle during the discharging preliminary stage, and as increasing the discharge, ultraviolet and visible light pulses are all appearing in the positive half cycle. As applied voltage increasing, the average pulse amplitude of visible light decreases and the discharge repetition rate increases. In a word, study on characteristics of multi-spectral pulse under corona discharge in SF6 gas can evaluate the discharge status and even judge the type of discharge.
