摘要：
Vacuum assisted closure techniques cover the whole spectrum (VAC) of treatments in soft tissue defects, not only on the surface of the body. The combination of VAC and sharp debridement keep the principal of wound bed preparation. More and more clinical experience increases the options of this method (control of infection), reduction of oedema (pre- and postoperatively) and take rates of grafts. The vacuum-installation-technique offers new treatments in acute and chronic wounds.
