摘要
This paper discusses the opportunities of a new and emerging technology i.e. the internet of things (IoT) in Energy-Food-Water (EFW) nexus. Concentration on EFW nexus is mainly motivated with the goals to reduce climate change by concentrating on natural resource management. This paper tries to explore the need for IoT in various of application of EFW nexus. Generalized architecture of IoT for addressing various complex issues in EFW nexus is discussed. Various applications where IoT could place a prominent role in EFW nexus were highlighted along with the discussions. The paper is concluded focusing on the benefits of IoT and discussion leading to sustainable development with the integrated solution provided.
