The goal of this Continuing Medical Education module is to summarize key evidence-based data available to plastic surgeons to improve their care of patients with breast hypertrophy. The authors' goal is to present the current controversies regarding their treatment and provide a discussion of the various options in their care. The article was prepared to accompany practice-based assessment with ongoing surgical education for the Maintenance of Certification Program of the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
